Farmington Antiques weekend

This past June we decided to take a trip to Farmington Connecticut to visit the annual antique fair held at the town’s Polo grounds.  It was a beautiful day, we met some great dealers and there were plenty of good finds.

I had a wonderful time speaking with Lawrence Stockman.  He and his partner Erica Haba specialize in 19th and 20th century collectibles.  A great source if you are in the market for some very nice Shabby Chic pieces at reasonable prices.  My favorite piece was decorative molding or lintel (seen below) that came from above the front door of an old New York house .

Another good find was the following vintage bevel glass mirror from Southbury Fine Arts.  The asking price $675.
