Is it Spring Yet?

As excited as I am for fall fashion, the nipping wind is already sending a foreboding chill down my spine. Fashion Week isn’t helping; there are incredible looks hitting the runway this autumn that are begging to be warm in a spring-infused city.

Jason Wu’s S/S ‘12 line is both punchy and romantic, pairing chiffons in soft pinks and blue with electric brights. Although I think the lipstick is a bit over the top, I’m fawning for the gorgeous drop-back skirts that made their debut this summer/fall. Also, the belted waist is so classic and feminine, very Balenciaga, no?

The entire color palette is stunning. I have a tendency to throw an image into this site to see exactly what colors are enticing me. This is a beautiful array for a bedroom with an elegant, yet playful feel. (I’m glad it didn’t pick up the yellow. Although it’s one of my favorite colors, I feel it’s reserved for fall.)
