Remembering Elizabeth Taylor

I, like many, am extremely saddened to see that Elizabeth Taylor passed away this morning. Through the many incredible films she’s created, and her bright and addicting personality, she’s become a legend to all. A true iconoclast, talented actress, humanitarian and stunning woman, Elizabeth Taylor has and forever will be associated with true Hollywood glamour.

Elizabeth Taylor was also known for the many pieces of real estate she owned across the world. Check out the images below to see how she transformed glorious mansions and buildings into a home that exudes the passion and spark we will always remember her by.

Interior and decorative painter Mark Chamberlain notes the use of bright pink on Elizabeth Taylor’s former properties in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Many of Elizabeth Taylor’s homes were adorned with bronze sculptures of horses created by her daughter, Liza Todd-Tivey.

Elizabeth Taylor used periwinkle blue in many of her homes as an accent, for it was her favorite color. This was also the reason she chose the stunning dress she wore for the 1969 Academy Awards.
