Rebelling at Maison & Object

Maison & Object trade show in Paris is an abundant source of cutting edge design and interior trends, that will show up on our shores in the next twelve months.  One of my favorite movements is the propensity of Victorian detail that we are seeing in fashion and home design.   This gives us an opportunity to mix modern and antique furniture in new and eclectic ways.

My favorite source for dishes and tabletop has to be Astier De Villatte (and can we talk about how haunting their site is?) As communities around the world rebel for democracy, pieces that reflect upon the French Revolution couldn’t be more in style.
