Uptown Girl

This week we are going to focus on our imaginary uptown girlfriend.  Where does she live?  The penthouse at the Pierre.  Where does she lunch?  The boathouse in Central Park.   A classic  french designer I am in love with is Alexis Mabille.  The model is wearing an adorable pink dress from his Spring couture collection.  The sofa is Italian from the sixties and can be found at Pariscope design, and the French mirror at the Antique and Art Exchange in San Francisco.

What’s her favorite movie? Woody Allen’s ”Everyone says I love you.”

It  follows the story of a liberal upper east side family and their relationship foibles.  Mostly I love it because of their apartment.  For instance the terrace.   A paean to New York and a bit of Paris.
