Decorating a space is fun and I am always envious when I go to someone’s home and they have that effortless sense of style that comes from within not from their decorator. How do you develop your style?

One of the ways is to look in your closet. Who are your favorite designers immaterial of whether you wear their clothes? This is a great way to get direction when you are furnishing an apartment.

If you like Lanvin then you like a fine cut and beautiful fabrics. For me Lanvin is glamorous but discreet. It has an edge that feels downtown. I think this girl lives in a great loft in West Chelsea or TriBeCa. The look; dark minimal and sophisticated.
